Buy Now & Bidding
As a Buyer, you may browse through our extensive list of offers or search for wines using our search engine. If you would like to purchase wines at the offered price, you can click on the "Buy Now" button to complete the purchase immediately. If you wish to bid at a price that is lower than what is offered, you can click on the "Place Bid" button and enter your bid price and quantity.
Buy Now
When you purchase wines with "Buy Now", 20% of the total purchase price will be charged to your credit card as soon as the transaction is made. The remaining 80% of the total purchase price will need to be settled by bank transfer to us within 7 business days.
Bid
Whenever you make a bid for a wine, 20% of your bid price will be reserved on your credit card as bid deposit (not charged). When your BID is accepted, this 20% will be charged to your credit card immediately. The remaining 80% will need to be settled by bank transfer within 7 business days.
Buyer's Commission
A Buyer’s Commission is charged on the trade executed price.
Making Payments
Please make payments following our instructions. We accept credit cards via Stripe.
You can view your outstanding payments at the "Payments Due" section of your account dashboard.
Once you have made the bank transfer, please upload an image of your payment slip using the image upload function. We will update the status of your wines as soon as full payment has been cleared and received by us.
Please refer to the below information if you have to pay via bank transfer.
Delivery
After a trade is matched and the payment is paid in full, your wines will be delivered to our facility for inspection.
You will receive a ready to release notification via email or phone call when all payments are settled and the wines are ready. By then and within 30 days upon receiving the notice, you can pick up the order at our Pickup Center for free. You can also book a delivery for single or bulk items at the Delivery panel, subject to a fee.
Delivery Fees
* We do not deliver to the following locations: Any address outside Hong Kong, airport areas, terminals, logistics companies/centers, warehouses with gate charge/entry fee, receiving departments, hotels, concierges, or outlying islands.
* If there is no elevator, our courier reserves the right to decline such delivery and any paid delivery fee will not be refunded, or customers may required to pick up the wines in an appointed location (e.g. ground floor of "Tong Lau").
For UK offers, an extra shipping fee of HKD 300 will be charged for every case of 3 or fewer bottles. Such fee will be included in the Remaining Balance.
There will be a storage fee of HKD 4 per bottle per month, if customers fail to pick up the order or arrange for delivery within 30 days upon receiving the ready to release notice. A partial day will be charged as a full month. All wines will only be released upon such payment is paid in full.
StockVins reserves the right to amend such rates or the terms and conditions without prior notice.
